BEING GREY MAKES ME HAPPY

It was just another lazy Sunday evening and also the official launch of GREY the latest addition to the Nigerian fashion scene. They hosted their clientele to a very elegant soiree that featured an exclusive look into their latest collection.

Grey is made up of Joke Ladoja (Elan’s Rukky’s frocks) and Obi Obioha a duo who combine their love for classic wearable designs with a passion for vibrant invigorating colors.

According to the designers the name GREY came from their desire to make their designs the midpoint between the outlandish and the classic.

Joke says their designs are for the Nigerian woman who wants her outfits to scream individuality without losing that classic wearable appeal.

This collection is majorly a mix of bold bright colors, florals and subtle tones which was translated into very elegant ensembles.

They had a wide variety of 50’s inspired dresses, skirts, mode dresses and long flowy maxi dresses in the most exquisite patterns ever and the best part of it all is that you don’t have to break a bank to afford one of their pieces they are extremely affordable.

All in all I have to say it was a very successful launch and a stylish way to spend a Sunday evening.
